Items and crates
Everything you own sits in your bag: military vehicles, ores, cards, crates. Military vehicles come in four families and are upgraded tier by tier by spending ore — but an upgrade does not always succeed. Crates are items that produce a random reward when opened.
Your bag
The Inventory tab on your profile page is your bag. Items are grouped by type and identical items stack on top of each other.
What to know about your bag:
- There is an upper limit to how many of one item you can carry. If you are VIP that limit is higher.
- The military vehicles and cards in your bag feed your stats directly. So the bag is not a warehouse, it is the source of your power.
- You can sell nearly any item on the market.
Military vehicles
Military vehicles are what you use in war, and they come in four families:
- Tank
- Plane
- Ship
- Submarine
Each family has its own ladder of tiers — the lowest a modest vehicle, the highest legendary. As you climb within a family a vehicle hits harder, holds longer, and reaches further in war.
You obtain vehicles in two ways: by building a factory or by buying on the market. They also come out of crates.
Upgrading a vehicle
You can take a vehicle up a tier. This spends ore and is done from the bag on your profile.
But there is an important detail: an upgrade does not always succeed. Every step has a success chance.
- If it succeeds, your vehicle becomes one tier higher.
- If it fails, you lose only the ore. You keep the vehicle. So there is no risk of losing your vehicle, only ore risk.
The chance is calculated on the game's own side; nothing you do can influence it. That is what makes cheating impossible.
The top-tier legendary vehicles cannot be produced in a factory. This is their only source: spending ore to upgrade. That is why the link between the mine and war strength is direct.
Crates
A crate is an ordinary item sitting in your bag — you can sell it on the market if you like. But it has one extra: it can be opened.
When you open it a horizontal strip spins, slows down and stops on a reward. The reward goes straight into your bag.
There are two kinds of crate:
- Mine Crate — the ores the mine produces come out of it.
- Military Crate — military vehicles come out of it.
Crates do not create new item types; they are another way to obtain things already in the game. Which reward will come up is decided on the game's side before you open it, so the animation is decoration — it does not change the result.
Cards
Cards are non-military items and they feed three stats: Finance, Politics, Education.
This is what most players overlook. A player who owns no cards has zero in those three — not broken, simply empty. And those three stats affect your earnings, your shipment speed in war, and your research times.
You can find cards on the market and obtain them from crates and rewards.
Tips
- Start upgrading from the bottom. Lower tiers have a higher success chance; trying your ore on the top step is an expensive gamble.
- The vehicle you sell takes your stats with it. Look at your attack and defense numbers before selling.
- Do not underestimate cards. Politics has a bigger effect in war than most players realise.
- You do not have to open a crate. Sometimes the crate itself is worth more on the market than what is inside it.
- Watch your bag limit. If you are at the limit, the surplus does not reach you; you have to sell or spend it on upgrades.
